A mini series within the realm of Anthology, An Epic in Four Parts showcases a four-part visual fable on the tragic cycle of conflict and war. It is inspired partially by both the colonial history of Indonesia and the everlasting conflict between fractions of the nation, delivered through a theatrical stage divided in four acts.

The spirit of its creation was born after reading Pramoedya A. Toers works such as the Buru Tetralogy and Gadis Pantai, as well as the collection of short stories by Franz Kafka. The mini series presents the question : if mankind is destined to always devour each other until the last person standing, will this cycle continue until the end of time?
