Memories series was born out of Aurora’s early explorations into confronting the inner psyche and translating it onto canvas. It uses floating visual compositions, with spaces left empty and perspectives sometimes bent, to depict the non linear way the mind works in remembering moments in life. The series mainly features warm earthy tone such as cream, red and brown. It is heavily inspired by the Pittura Metaphyisica of Chirico and Carra.
