The Anthology series is as a collection of tales highlighting the complex dynamic and often ironical nature of human relationships, depicted through multilayered visual narratives set in paralel fantasy universe. Whether it’s an Us versus Them within the greater scope of society, or a deceptively mundane struggle within interpersonal and familial relations, Anthology seeks to both capture and question the underlying framework of what is often considered inevitable reality.

Such thematic nuances are delivered through the borrowing and reinterpretation of cross cultural metaphors and symbolisms drawn from various literary and mythological traditions. Furthermore, with vibrant colors that are controlled through soft transitions and reduced contrast range it is designed to convey the timeless feel of old classic picture book fused with elements that mirror dream-like contemplation. The series also deliberately uses extensive detailing and layering of objects akin to a theatrical stage to convey multiple scenes at once, with the middle ground often becoming the center stage where the main characters are.

Since its formal introduction at her 2023 solo show Dreamscape Anthology, it has now become Aurora’s primary series.
